We had a birthday in Mrs. Bishop's 4-Year-Old Preschool! Our Preschool friends shared their birthday pictures using support chairs! We also made magic playdough. All of our friends started with white playdough. If the color changed when we squished it then the magic worked and we would have a great year! The magic worked, the color changed and it's going to be a great year!!

Please welcome our new high school social studies teacher, Anna Callis! Anna attended Grand Valley State University and got two degrees, one in Secondary Education and the other in Social Studies. After graduating, she taught World History in Detroit for 2 years since she is originally from Livonia, MI. She moved up to Huron County a year ago with her boyfriend Ian and their cat Biscuit! They moved to Harbor Beach since Ian got a job at McClaren Hospital as a pharmacist. Since moving up here, she has worked as a Reading Interventionist and a Para at North Huron Elementary. When she saw the posting for a social studies position at HB she was so excited for the opportunity to get back to teaching history! Her hobbies are reading, relaxing at the beach, hiking, playing with her cat Biscuit, and cooking/ baking. Her favorite part of teaching is getting to know the students and coming up with engaging activities and lessons. Anna is super excited for an amazing school year at HB!
