It was a great night to be a Pirate on the football field and volleyball court last night!
Yesterday, the 6th graders had a chance to visit the Pointe aux Barques Lighthouse and Huron County Nature Center! Students took a tour of the lighthouse and museum and were able to learn how the lighthouse and life-saving station operate. At the Nature Center, they learned about the local plants and animals, did a walking scavenger hunt, and even spied a few sneaky creatures basking in the sun! Can you find them in the pictures?

Another elective option for our 8th grade students is Spanish 1. This year, 8th grade students from OLLH and Zion Lutheran School also had the opportunity to enroll in Spanish 1!
