Our students did a great job representing our Computer Science program at the Student Technology Showcase today at the State Capitol. Not only did they give fantastic presentations, but they got to meet our State Senator Dan Lauwers.

On this day in 1975, the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) was signed into law, reaffirming the importance of inclusive education for students with special needs. We might be biased, but we think our special education teachers are the best and wanted to give them a shoutout for all that they do!

Mrs. Seidl’s Second Grade had so much fun disguising their turkey friends to save them from becoming a Thanksgiving dinner. There were so many creative designs such as a mermaid, Santa Claus, seaweed, Turk-a-chu (Pikachu), and even Roz the Robot (from our favorite book 😊). A huge thank you goes out to all of the families who helped create these amazing projects! Happy Thanksgiving All!!! 🦃
