Some of Ms. McIntyre’s Advanced Art students recently visited Village Glass Works, where they got a firsthand look at the fascinating art of glassblowing! Students learned about the chemistry and physics behind how heat transforms glass, then each created their own hand-blown glass ornament — choosing their own colors, textures, and designs. One returning student even took it to the next level, crafting a beautiful hand-blown glass pumpkin! This hands-on field trip continues to be a favorite year after year! 🔥✨

Friday afternoon, 28 teams gathered in our library to compete in a Robotics competition! The game, called "Mix & Match," involved working with another team to have your robot perform a series of tasks and score points. 3 Harbor Beach teams competed, including William Gentner, Tobin Soper, & Holden Roggenbuck (12th place), Landon Peterson, Henry Marks, & Liam Russell (pictured, 22nd place), and Mya Drewanz, Ella Hendershot, & Ciara Bredow!
