This week, let's have everyone wear Pirate Gear to show their Pirate Pride Monday and Tuesday as we head into Thanksgiving Break. Go Pirates!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at HBCS! 🎄🎅🏽 Our high school NHS students spent the afternoon wrapping lockers. All proceeds from this fundraiser go to Adopt-A-Family. Thanks to all who purchased a locker wrap to support their efforts.

🦃 Ms. McIntyre’s Creative Studies classes spent last week cooking up a homemade traditional Thanksgiving Feast! Students learned how to prepare a full holiday meal — turkey, homemade stuffing, potatoes, coleslaw, pumpkin pie, pumpkin roll, and more.

The delicious meal was shared with Creative Studies students and HS staff during lunch, and the desserts were also delivered to our Elementary and Middle School staff.

We are so thankful for all of our amazing staff who support our students every day. 🍽️💛

Here is a look at the short week ahead at HBCS, capped off with our Pirates playing for the Division 8 state title at Ford Field on Friday!

Our first MS/HS Robotics League Event is today from 9:15-12 in the high school media center. We also have our football team playing in Alpena for the State Semifinals. Lots of opportunities to cheer for our Pirates!

Our middle school girls' basketball teams traveled to Bad Axe last night, and the 8th grade team came away with a win!

A group of middle school students took over the movie theatre Tuesday night for a special showing of The Lorax! The event was free, the laughs were loud, and the fun was nonstop. A huge thanks to the Harbor Beach Community Theatre for making it a night to remember!
