In the fall, Our Lady of Lake Huron Knights of Columbus Council 11432 conducts its annual Tootsie Roll Drive.
Street and commercial collections resulted in local community donations of nearly $5,000 to groups and agencies that provide services to those members of our community with special needs.
Funds were provided to the Huron County Special Olympics, 4-H Equestrian Therapeutic Riders, Thumb Industries, Our Lady of Lake Huron School, and the special education program at Harbor Beach Community Schools.
