Welcome back to all of our middle school students, staff, and families!

One of the constants in life is change. This year that change will include additional choices for elective classes for our 7th & 8th grade students, as well as some new class offerings. This includes MS AG (FFA), MS Yearbook, Public Relations, MS Business, Service & Leadership, Skills, Spanish, Band, and Seminar. We hope this allows each of our students to explore some areas of interest to develop the passion and skills to make their next steps successful, in both school and life.

It will include some changes in transportation with in-town bus stops to help students that walk get across busy roads safely. It will include some changes to the start and end of the day, with student safety and best practices in mind. It will include new roles for staff, including me, as I transition to be the Middle School Principal and Transportation Director. It will include changes for each of our students as they navigate the changes that come with the transition from being a kid to being an adult. Middle school is an exciting time with lots of changes, and we look forward to seeing what each of our students will become as they navigate through their journey.

One thing that has not changed are our expectations and standards, as we continue to work toward creating the best school experience possible for our students, families, and community. We take great pride in our school and community and want the best for all. Work hard, have fun, be kind, and be proud that you are a Pirate!
